I think it was on this forum that I heard about them. I might be misremembering though. ETA: Misprint? Multiple AGP slots are important if your system requires high-performance video and multiple monitors.

Why would ME be less stable than 98SE? I thought the only problem with it was the removal of DOS.

Boards with multiple AGP slots actually exist. I think they're used for some virtualisation purpose.

WinImage uses the old RAWRITE format I believe. DOS booter disks use their own exotic formats which WinImage won't recognize.

You can make an old school DOS rip of the image. Or you can put the image on a USB stick and boot from a Gotek or similar. The obvious problem with running an image from DOS is that it will take over the entire memory and overwrite DOS and the calling program. Does DOS even allow this?

Someone here linked DOS USB drivers a time ago, but I remember testing them and finding them unreliable. IIRC, they only really work with DOS text mode programs (like MSD).

You need to get an older version of StarCraft to install on NT 4.0. I have 2001 and 2007 releases of SC+BW but only the first installs on NT 4.0 and Mac OS 9. The 2007 release refuses to install on both platforms.
