I generally do the opposite - cover up the hole and convert HD floppies to DD. They're more reliable that way, so I only format as HD if I'm using the disk for something that actually needs that much space. That looks amazing. Definitely looks and feels like Citadel Station. As MusciallyInspired says, though, I sure do hope they have at least some semblance of the original soundtrack. Back in the DOS days, music would often make the game. In my mind, the music helped make System Shock what it was.

Yes 1 mb unformated, since you could use them on different computers. If you would format a 720kb disk in a amiga it would become a 880kb disk. If used on a one of the first msx1 diskdrives it would become a 360kb disk. Back in the day i punshed a lot of dd disks to be able to format them as a hd. …

Thanks. That also answers my question on all these 1.0MB floppies. They are functionally 720KB. The 1.0MB is unformatted (marketing) capacity.

Regarding ClamAV, they were recently tested by av-test.org and did about as poorly as I've ever seen an A/V do. IMO, ClamAV should be limited to a background scanner for linux servers. It doesn't have what it takes (especially on Windows PCs) for a desktop scanner. Another good site to check …

I've never had any issues activating BitDefender free. It is my go-to recommendation for personal use. But if you're having issues with that, MSE is my 2nd choice. Their detection rates have gone up considerably (see av-test.org) in recent times, which was always their Achilles Heel.
