This is how the 8088MPH demo looks like on my Schneider Euro PC with a Commodore 1084s monitor. As you can see the demo workes but i dont get more than 16 colours - even that is greate from CGA.

I cannot use 80 column. I onlu use a Scart input. I tried making a RGBi to SCART cable with electronics, but it did not work.

Thing is, there should be 4 dip switches to select the different modes (although they can also be controlled by software to a certain extent. You have to set the monitor type with the dipswitch, but you can change the CGA/Hercules emulation modes on-the-fly). And afaik the EuroPC doesn't have these …
