I run a modded Tualatin 1.4 on a DFI GCB60-BX/C1 motherboard which is Intel BX Chipset. It has 3 ISA Slots and I use it with a Geforce 4 Ti 4600. Works really well.

I've tested a AMD Mobile Athlon 4 1600+ on my board and it posted but the Multi was wrong and there is no way in the bios to set a different multi so just left it.

Adding Turtle Beach HOMAC to Korg NS5R

Hi Guys, Even though the Korg NS5R has a Wavetable header to add daughter boards, I read the PSU can be kind of weak on them and certain boards can cause issues. I was thinking of adding my HOMAC board into it. Has anyone done this or know if it won't cause issues? Thanks

I believe the Gigabyte BX Series of boards are all very similar, I use a Powerleap BIOS on mine for the VIA Support. This is mine (The 1st pic was when I was originally using a GF2 before swapping to a V3)

Very very similar to my build! Mine is based around a Gigabyte GA-BX6C on a 2.0 MSI slocket. The gigabyte board is great because you can use SoftUSB using Rayers usb program and combined with kalohimal's CPUSPD tool makes it quite flexible. I haven't gone through mapping the CPU fully yet mind. I …

I have the same 1400s you linked in your OP. I run mine on a DFI GCB60-BX/C1 which is a Intel BX Chipset. It runs correct voltages. It detects the correct clock speed but shows the fsb and multi wrong on post. I run mine at 1470mhz (140x10.5) Runs pretty fast.

I run a X3220 stock (2.4ghz) with 2GB of Corsair 3200 on a Asus P5PE-VM with a X850 XT PE also stock and get this in 2001SE. I actually need to flash the modded bios floating about and try my e5800 with it.

Well I've gone slightly bonkers with my sound setup on my Tualatin machine! I removed the Turtle Beach Maui and replaced it with a EWS64XL, But I've managed to retain the Kurzweil midi as i populated the breakout bay with a Turtle Beach HOMAC :-) I also added a CT2940 with Gen OPL3 and a DB50XG. …

Well the Trust Korg Super Sound Module arrived today. Quickly popped it on a SB16 and happy to report it works great and sounds awesome. Just need to decide which card to host it now.

How are the temps with the passive cooler? Surprisingly good. Its the dual heat pipe variant of the cooler (ZM80D-HP). The cooler gets warm but its not really that hot.
