I finally got my hands on a AGP Radeon 850XT. Been on the hunt for one for a while at a reasonable price. Sapphire Radeon 850XT Platinum.

Received this Gold coloured Sound Blaster 2.0 this morning. Doesn't have any Creative or Sound Blaster stamping but the FCC ID points to it being a creative card.

I've not bought much hardware recently but I saw this the other day, and its always a good idea to pick up Super Socket 7 motherboards! It arrived to day and it's a MSI MS5169 Rev 4.0 motherboard. Quite looking forward to trying this out on the night before Christmas! :lol: https://i.imgur.com/ …

I have a Shuttle HOT-687Z which is based on the ZX chipset. Has 1 ISA and SB Link. There is a BX version which is the HOT-687 and a Via Model 687V

I picked up a XG Card with Coax SPDIF out on it. Looks to be a no name chinese brand but quality is good and it has SB-Link populated also.

I have been wanting to put together a 386 machine for a while now and my first piece of it arrived today. It's actually a hybrid board - Opti 495SLC. It is pre populated with a AMD DX40 and a 40mhz ULSI Maths Co Processor and 4mb ram. Battery hasn't leaked but I'll be replacing this with a new one. …

The BIOS chip looks like it has a ceramic package, which is usually pointing to an EPROM, so no Flash chip. You would need to program this in an external programmer. You might also need to take a look at the DALLAS chip. Its battery is most surely dead by now. Thanks, i had a feeling it would …

I've never had any luck running 133mhz on the PIII Slot 1 boards I've encountered. I've had a few Gigabyte 6XBC's (1.9 & 2.0's) and could not get any of them to post at 133mhz. I Flashed with a the correct bios with an Upgradeware Slot T Adaptor but no joy. I do have a Abit BX133 Mhz that worked but …
