I recently bought a skulltrail board and in at a loss for what OS to use with it. The only os I have the will work with it is advance server 2000. I like the OS and would love to use it, but it's not a good match. My first thought was server 08, but after looking at the cost of a copy.... No way! 7 …

I made some changes to my network. pings to London England is around 100-120ms. pings to Norway are around 150ms not much better, but I'm getting there. Now for the new modem and cat7.

I thought the gameplay was pretty smooth considering your powerline ethernet (yeah, I'm in the US with you). But 30ms to router is a little rough. I'm guessing you've got a static IP from your ISP? The only good mod I can think of is PerUnreal which is pretty much an attempt at PerQuake on UT, including the movie-ish sound effect upgrades and the love for chainsaws and miniguns. I lowered the game speed back to 130% I used to play on those monster hunt servers and they typical ran at higher speeds, I got used to it. If 130 is to fast I'll lower it too. Oh that explains it I guess, I personally would keep it at 100% normal with Hardcore enabled. Not sure how in the world …

There aren't any mods on my server, it's a standard. It does seem to run a lot slower (it's at 100% normal speed). it made me down load some mods. Anyway the server it back up, sorry about the down time. Some how the ATX cable came lose when I moved the pc to installed the new cat5e cable. Pings …
