Ntp fitting and aluminum parts are ok. Its when you mix metals when you have a problem. That ans ntp fitting look real bad these days.

are you using non polarized? I think that matters quite a bit. I'm using bi polar, its what I had sitting around. after messing around with a few different caps I found that a 4.7uf cap gives the cleanest sound, less bass but cleaner sound none the less.
