Been doing some more reading. Looks like most my motherboards with a i815 or VIA 693A/694X/694T chip set will work with Nehemiah. But some will need a bios update according to toms hardware.

Make sure you still have agp x4 support. That guys cpu's can disable that.

I don't think Nehemiah even needs to be pin-modded to be able to run in pre-Tualatin boards? The one time I tried it in a Coppermine board (ASUS s370 board but can't remember the exact model anymore) it would post at the correct speed and CPU voltage, while a Tualatin should in theory not work …

According to both the ASUS website and cpu-upgrade.com the VIAs aren't supported officially, but that doesn't mean your chips won't run in it. You may be pushing the board when making it supply low enough voltages to the CPU. The CUV4X seems to officially support Mendocino, which I find kinda …

Now witch is it mr troll? A 533mhz celly or 566? The best oc on hwbot for the coppermine 533 is 1169 and the 566 best oc had l2 disable and was on ln2. @ noshutdown There's no need to be a dick. Yeah the best oc on the 533 is 830mhz on hwbot. Oddly I hit a wall right about 1.2ghz. Once there I have to ramp of the voltage. Once I get a network card for the system I'll upload a validation file for it at both 1ghz @ stock voltage and with the best oc …

The stock oem heatsink and a 120mm delta fan. I can't even get 171fsb to boot up windows. But 170 is fine. Still 1.28 is not bad. And 170mhz fsb out a an abit be6-ii with the crappy stock caps. I'm not sure how stable it is. But I can load Windows without and problems and validate the overclock. 1. …
