One of the pictures seems to indicate a memory conflict with part of the BIOS' ACPI functions. Did you change any BIOS settings related to that or any memory settings?

It's fairly likely that DOS 5.0 and its utilities don't like that amount of memory at all (hence the "0" bytes free). Use Dosbox and limit the amount of available RAM.
