matze79, I'm under the impression that this is a small run of the board prototype for the smart guys to test and work out the kinks (if any) with. At least I hope that's the case, as I donated to qualify for a card on the production run.

The best place to begin judging from these photos would be to take out all the cards to give them and the motherboard a good dusting down. Some times just reseating hardware can fix boot issues, especially if the contacts are dirty or oxidised. While the cards are out it's worth taking a closer look …

I don't hear the Crash Cymbal on Doom E1M1 that should start at around 00:10 with the GUD bank, but I do hear it in FSMP with the GeneralUser SF2 or SC-55. Can someone confirm? Agreed. It is there on all of the Dream Bank recordings, but none of the GUD 0.6 recordings. Regardless of the level …

Would I be correct in thinking the Type: 73824862 Socket has a pitch of 1.27 mm? (Distance between pins.)
