DB50XG - had no NEC clone, was packaged in at least 2 different boxes (the one you have and another one, more "horizontal") DB51XG - had no NEC clone, haven't been spotted boxed in the wild, was used in Korg NX5R modules as a built-in option DB60XG - had NEC XR385 clone used in Japanese PC-98 …

Just got my boxed SW20-PC and my Yamahas soundcards family is one step closer to be complete. Was DB51 and DB60 boxed? I Know that DB51 was a part of some external midi modules like Korg but DB60 was a stand-alone card in box? I know that DB50 has a Nec clone. Did DB60 had Nec clone too?

Holy crap, how many GUSes do you have? Hmmm.... About 24 :cool: 16 GUS and 8 clones... I'm crazy about it :-) - really I have to take a photo off all of them at once. Now I'm in search of Boxed classic... And I'm allways in search of GUS daughterboard - but that's seems to be impossible to find :(

Finally got my GUS ACE 1.1 - looks like new, absolutely no scratches on ISA paths, shiny PCB... Thats gonna be an important part of my MMX build together with 2760 AWE32 with Roland SCB-55

Today was a "international package recieve" day 😀 I've recieved GUS PnP Pro 3.0 and Synergy Viper MAX, some magazines to make up my collection, Trilogy of Doom and a new Gigabyte GAA bios... (maybe that will make it run)

I know what kind of gray you mean... I have Tseng et6000 and newly bough AdLib asb 64 wave in this deep green colour... I'll try to look for that kind of motherboard... Blue PCB socket 7 build seems even more difficult than red... although I didn't knew red s7 mobo existed before I bought this one …

Thanks gbeirn! Yes, as for socket 7 it's quite extraordinary... Now I bought PC Partner MVP3BS7-954 and I aim do do the "super tiny" socket 7 build... thinkind of small soundcard, and graphic card.
