That 16.9344mhz crystal was the hardest thing to source when I built the Argus, I ended up using some 'fake smd' type from China, that you can just fold the legs back down.

I guess he's still answered your question though, a standard V5 has 2x32MB, so you're going to run in to the texture memory limit mentioned.

The lack of those cache sticks is why I installed the DX4. If only someone who has one would be willing to have it inspected, so work could start on some sort of replacement.

By the way, this home made VRM fits perfectly on the "FIC 486 GAC-2". 3 jumpers need to be removed, because this board does not have the MOSFET switch for automatic 5V CPU detection.
