I spotted the motherboard in a lot of 3 486 boards for $50. This was the one that I had hoped worked. The layout is great for longer cards due to the CPU being above the slots. I, too, am a member. I helped someone locate the replacement HSFs that I installed on mine. That's about the extent of my activity there. It's merely a place to post where others may have had the issue, Group name notwithstanding.

Ok, so the 30 pin RAM finally arrived. 8x 1mb sticks... and none of the 8 sticks are being recognized by the board :depressed: MB is giving the long beeps (Award BIOS), and the test card gives the same code as if it wasn't any memory in the board. It's hard to make out from your picture. Was the CMOS battery corroded when it was removed, and do you see any damaged traces on the board around that area. Green coloured or swelling.
