I can't seem to source the required ferrite beads locally:/ BOM lists 3.5x7.6mm for 110Ohm Impedence, the ones I can find are 3.5x5.3 for 64Ohm Impedence.. Better than nothing I guess, but still 🙁 I ordered, but will keep looking.

I'm comfotable with straightening the legs, I've done it countless times on other cards.. Is there an easy way to test these cards in MS-DOS? Do they work with any Voodoo1 patches like Tomb Raider or Descent? Or possibly with any DOS 3dfx testing/debug tools?

Promedia Base-1 is quite a good choice indeed 😁 I have a Celeron 300 but I can't remember if it's the 300A model or not.. EDIT: I just checked, it's a 300 without cache. Not a bad idea, but I guess having an AGP slot makes it eligible for a worse card like the SiS AGP chipsets or something..
