At 1600x1200 the fillrate/bandwidth will bottleneck the MX400 but seriously who will play at 1600x1200 on these hardware? Anyway, even in this scenario it's 10% or so behind the GF256 SDR, so yeah.

anyway, isn't the MX400 clearly slower than a 256 DDR? Nah. I think the 256MB AGP Aperture recommendation is related to BIOS bugs with some motherboards. Digging through the MURC forum shows some people had major problems with the cards if AGP aperture wasn't at 256MB. Look at TurboGL go. :) It's supposedly quite nice for K6-2/3 too. I think G400 is …

Ahh, nice fast Slot-1 CPU, those are getting rare.. The fastest I have is a 700, though I do have Socket 370 P3 850/256/100 and Celeron 900/128/100 I could use with a Slocket I suppose..
