That's typical CL5426 card with non-upgradable 1mb 70ns memory. Good built quality, but nothing spectacular. More or less on par with well documented CL5428 in DOS. Both share the same chip clock speed - 80mhz.

Late Nenemiah core can be compared to Penium 3 Coppermine (not in clock-for-clock comparison). This one is based on Samuel core and can be compared to overclocked Pentium MMX.

Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM render the screen in vertical columns of 1 pixel wide, because of the way the raycasting algorithm works. Doom is not raycaster though.

I think I've managed to boot at full 64mb SDRAM capacity with single sided module (1 rank) with late revision of Asus P/I-P55TVP4 (two DIMM slots). Will investigate later.

GeForce 4 Ti does not have additional gold fingers for increased power draw. But if the board is in bad shape, it won't help you anyway.

I don't see why testing at lower resolutions and quality settings would put more load on the GPU. Just look at ATITool as an example.

It has 256KB of on board cache and has COAST slot for additional 256KB of cache... Tip: COAST module usually indicates early revision of the board, they are not AMD K6plus friendly.

playing on a Savage4 You don't need that piece of junk. S3 pack was adapted to work with any DXTC compatible card a decade plus ago. Unreal engine games are generally bad justification to use any S3 or 3dfx card. Unless you really want to go full retro and use Voodoo 2.

A GF2 Ti is faster than the later geforces in some older games Only without AA and AF, you can easily ramp up image quality on late GeForce cards.

4.05 cards are quite hard (only few early SB16 models) to find and 4.16 is AWE64. Also: !) It's pointless anyway, because best SB16 cards are based on "bug-free" CT1747. 2) Fixing Sound Blasters 16+ is the lost cause, because all of them are riddled with various bugs.

There's two voltage regulators on the board, which means it's 3.3v capable. In fact, the board has jumper memo near the socket which mentions DX4.
