I tested that the card works at least in my Pentium 2 dos pc. I would probably need windows to find out exactly what model the card is.

Does anyone recognize this graphics card? Also I would like to know if I can put it on any motherboard that has AGP slot like Asus P2B or would there be a problem with not enough power through the AGP slot? I had a very similar motherboard and I always thought that it was normal that the coast module replaces any on board cache and they do not work at same time. That is why I got 512Kb coast module to begin with.

Since 2000 and 3000 have the same model number, is 3000 just overclocked 2000 with better cooling? I'm thinking about getting a 40mm fan and strapping the 40mm fan on the heatsink with zip ties even if not overclocking. The 50mm fans that I have seem to be bit too big for it.

You can disable ACPI in windows 2000, but unfortunately that disables SMP support too.

It could be caused by many things. When I was doing tech support in late 90s, there was a similar situation with one win NT 4.0 pc and when I figured it out it was actually caused by a faulty keyboard. I would start removing expansion cards and peripheral devices and checking out if removing any of …

He is selling them with CPUs. GA6VX7B has 866Mhz P3, GA6BX7 has 800Mhz P3 and GA6VTXE has 1266Mhz P3. Also all of them come with 256Mb ram. Prices are between 25 and 30 euros each + shipping.

Someone is selling 3 different gigabyte motherboards. GA6VX7B, GA6BX7 and GA6VTXE. I'm having bit trouble figuring out the differences. Which one of them you would choose or are none of them good and you would wait to find better one?

I always thought cyrix cpus were inferior to their intel counterparts when it comes to speed and compatibility. I remember Phil testing cyrix 486 in some of his videos.
