I have been trying to look around internet. There are programs that some people talk about like there is suppose to be a dos version of cdrtools and a program called doscdroast, but I have not been able to find a working download for any of them.

I installed Mitsumi 8x/2x cd drive in my retro dos pc because it seemed to be most reliable out of my old optical cd drives when it comes to reading CDs. Now I am in a situation where I have to format hard drive again and I started to wonder if there would be a way to make a backup all the games …

As far as I know wing commander 2 was released before thrustmaster joysticks were made, so wing commander 2 is unlikely to have thrustmaster support. I think Wing Commander 3 had a patch that added thrustmaster compatibility.

It came with that pentium 120Mhz that is in the picture. I think the cpu is a socket 5 version. Only thing I changed was that I did put those two 32Mb memory modules there while it came with 4x4Mb memory modules.

I didn't really pay anything for it. At least it is working now. I don't have a serial mouse to try with it, but if I needed com ports, I assume I could disable on board com ports and just put an ISA I/O card there?
