You need a slotket with voltage controls. There are a few of them that can do 1.8v which is close enough. You used to be able to find the MSI MS6905 pretty easily but they are very rare now. Hot glue would come with the advantage of being able to be removed if for some reason you'd need to work on the pins. It's also cheap and easy to work with but it probably won't offer the same level of protection that some epoxy would.

Oh and if despite all reasoning you're dead set on the +5V overkill because your previous failing Antec PSU gave you a scare buy an Enermax EG465AX-VE and replace the capacitors in it/have it serviced. If you want very strong +5V rails you have to use older PSUs because new ones focus on +12V.
