I also found success. In the pic two posts up, JP4 jumper stayed as is, and the 4 pin header was indeed for external battery. I'll get myself one of the battery boxes from ebay, but in the meantime a sandwich of two cr2032s, some electrical tape and a speaker header wire did the trick. https://imgur …

From a recent haul last week, I pulled this lovely 7600 GS out of an otherwise ordinary tower. Working nicely as an upgrade to an FX 5200 in my P4 machine. Finally getting smooth frame rates in Unreal (gold) at max details and 1280x1024.

Mentioned up above regarding discharging capacitors. I just looked at a mainboard with caps rated at 6.3 volts. Do these required discharging? I watched videos of people discharging large capacitors with 75+ volts with quite the spark.

Stripped down to the bone several cases for anything useful. Spare drive bay covers, rubber feet, speakers, back plane covers, led indicators. Should have enough miscellaneous parts for a good while.

My Turbo LED display has only a ribbon cable for connecting to the "deck" (I don't know what you call it).
