Maybe I was confusing it with the Millennium then. Still interesting that all games for the Mystique mention 2 MB and 4 MB cards in their readme files only.

That should be 2 MB + 2 MB. The Mystique does not support more than 4 MB and the 4 MB ones have a label saying "non-upgradable".

That's not what he meant. He burnt CD-Rs at 52x speed on his Windows 7 box and those can not be read by the 4x backpack cd rewritter in his Compaq Presario 425. That's because he burnt them too fast. You can also use a cheap Ethernet->Wifi bridge, which will circumvent any requirements for the OS, since the bridge does all that and the OS just sees a standard Ethernet connection.

Certainly faked. Date code is silly and they weren't labled like that. Most likely 20ns or even 25ns ones.

NUSB works with USB 2.0 only. You mean none of the add-on cards you tried were even detected? Then there's a serious problem with the PCI bus... PCI uses bus enumeration and it's impossible for a card not being detected.
