Re: Have youtube slashed their bitrates?

If I remember correctly, then the "free" version of youtube. Then the sound is compressed to 128kbit . Perhaps I am wrong, but it seems to make sense, cause I have also experienced quite a few times, where the sound used to be good in the past. But now it is bad to "okay" in sound quality. Heck I …

Re: Have youtube slashed their bitrates?

It's definitely not an issue with source content most of the time, or at least exclusively. I record gameplay and occasionally upload to youtube and my recording settings have not changed, and the quality of the framebuffer is surely not a variable, but the resulting YouTube video is significantly …

Unfortuantely With openglpp i get tearing in fullscreen with fast games (Jazz Jackrabbit). Windowed is fine. With surfacepp there's no tearing in fullscreen nor windowed. Is the tearing present in vanilla DOSBox with openglnb ? In fullscreen yes Tested vanilla r4180 DOSBox on Linux, I see zero …

Re: DOSBox Cheat System

This is a great addition - and a very nice and elegant implementation as well! As somone with limited gaming time, cheats can bring a new dimension to some games or open up new levels and such.. so I find them a fun addition to use every now and then. Do you have plans to add runtime features? (l'm …
