W1D is unique is thickness. Thinnest ever, the later ones were thicker due to direct drive spindle motor.

This is Compuadd board, has cache. That red connector 4 pin is for keyboard, Find ground, and 5v then pick which is which are for clock and data pin then make adapter. Disable all the i/o and use multi-i/o serial and parallel card instead. Cheers,

Additionally, multiple-channel helps with bandwidth that is useful also not just that, integrated GPU needs this for 1080p playback for example, where bandwidth is useful rather than iGPU performance. Cheers,

44 pin ATA connector used 4 pins for power, are two ground return, two for 5V supply, rest is signal ground. Hard drives of these 2.5" usually 1A surge during start up. Cheers,

Looks like you have make do with CF or SSD with ATA to SATA bridge chip (I like the Startech version which uses Marvell chipset which is very well made). Why does watts matters? Just put in a small power supply to supply 5V direct from DC in jack instead of SV-880 motherboard's power circuits. Best …
