Hey guys, I resurrected this HP vectra 5/150 and it’s working well. I installed a SB vibra 16, and a diamond stealth 3D 2000 2mb video card. It’s a socket 7 pentium machine with 64 megs of ram running Windows 3.1. Wondering what suggestions you have for maxing it out? Would a p200 mmx work? 3E6FD243 …

I recently acquired 100+ 5.25" floppy disks from my dad, and don't have any 5.25" drives in my machines. I have 3 loose drives that I haven't been able to get working yet, but I don't know if it's the drives or just compatibility issues. My other systems, I think, are either too new, or weren't …

For dx4 you need to be able to change voltage. That is most important thing that you don't break your dx4 cpu. I don't recognize the motherboard, so I don't know if it has jumpers for changing the voltage. Maybe there are markings about changing voltage somewhere on it? You're right, and I think …

Nice post and nice system. That sort of case isn't my usual cup of tea, but I actually really like it in this case. I remember wanting so many different upgrades back then, and really being limited to budget builds, every 2-3 years. Easy to get left in the dust that way.

I went from a pretty nice setup to being relegated to the garage. At my old job, I had the office to myself, and it would sometimes get pretty slow. So I had a lot of time to go find goodies and didn't have to bring my clutter home. But I hated that job, and have since found a much better one …

Good point. None of my hdds are smaller than 8gb. I have an 80 and a 123. The only other thing I have currently is an 8gb compact flash setup. I'll go ahead and try that next.
