I have a dream... where jQuery is dead, buried together with Flash & Internet Explorer, and we all go back to vanilla JavaScript, and HTML5 & CSS are both reworked to be even simpler for retro compatibility. Blame it on Google for pushing the boundaries of the web with their stupid vendor CSS …

In this flame war, I was always on Intel side. I always used Intel CPUs for my entire life so far, and never used anything else. Okay, that's almost a lie, I used the PowerPC Macintoshes at some point. But at least I never used AMD...

As far as I can see, Chrome 76 on XP has some few problems still after he fixed a big list of them. GDI font rendering is one of them. But looking from the screenshots, it looks almost ready for prime time. That's good news for XP fans. A modern browser on XP can make the OS last longer.
