Thnaks for the Help. My board dont have the jumpers headers 7,8 and 9 (for cpu frequency) but . I just have a spare amd 386 dx 40. The only way to switch is to use a soldering iron :) The jumper setting for cpu shows 50m, 66m and 80m (without the "Hz").Also there no option for cpu without jumpers. …

The MT-32 mode on Windows 9x is just using the soundfont loader? My current rig use a Audician 32 and never tried a Sb32/AWE32, only sb16 cards.

I wanna try the Phils MIDI emulation using a raspberry pi or pc. How should I join the midi sound and digital sound in the same output? Just using the sound card line in / line out? Using a external mixer is a must?

The Roland Sound Canvas Sc-50 is really good for DOS GM? I never see video on YT or people discussing about. I find one for "fair" price and good condition. Also i found the first SC88 a bit more expensive. SC88 feature MT32 emulation?

I got the first Aureal vortex model AU8820B2. How this card is compatible for DOS? People only talks about the Aureal vortex 2. I want to give this card to my friend. He intended to use on the motherboard ASUS TUV 4x v 1.01.
