For mixers it is usual that they use XLR or 1/4 inch phone jacks. And it is also usual that they are mono. You can get cables that have 3.5mm on one end and two 1/4" on the other. A nice mixer that doubles as a USB sound card with 4 or 5 inputs can be had for less than 100€.

Dang. So I will look out for the keyboards mentioned. Cherry G80 seem to be rather easy to be had. Question is if they are good enough.

I snatched a 3.5 to 5.25 inch drive bay on ebay with a cutout for USB. I removed the USB ports and will dremel away some bits and pieces and then a standard rocker switch will fit in there. This will be my power button. Also it fits my GoTek nicely, which will soon be modded with an OLED display... …

I just played around with Wing Commander 2 on the 386 board. I noticed that my cheap Fujitsu keyboard has a matrix where when I use the cursor keys, the space bar is dead. Well, I replaced the Suntac 286 board with an OPTi 386DX 25 Board... when the POST card arrives, I will start debugging the 286 board. I hope to rescue it. There are no visible problems...
