Well, maybe it could. I am not an electrical engineer. But I thought that would require quite large components for a current of several hundred milli Ampere. But maybe there are small DCDC converters that can do this? I dunno...

Well, it was just meant as a joke. As the -12V is the biggest load on the board, I think it is fair to assume this will have to come via the ISA bus, and can't be generated via DCDC converters on the board itself. What is that actually used for? SID?

Can you post a screenshot? Of course one problem is that 1080 is not a multiple of 480. you could try to force a 2x scaler, which gives 960, with black bars. That might look nicer.

According to the datasheet [1] it is OPL3 compatible. Yes, it is NOT a true Yamaha OPL3, but we get what he's talking about. Anyway, I think it's nice that people produce new sound cards. The advantage here is that you get SB Pro 2 compatibility (and Windows Sound System as well) on an 8 bit card, …

Oh, I didn’t think that the OPL3 part could do the 220h. So maybe that feature isn’t really needed. I was merely thinking about how SB and other cards do it.

These OPTi cards are also rather good. The original drivers are a bit bloated, but there's a community driver for the 929 that is just awesome. It does SB Pro 2.0 in Stereo and WSS. Your card also has a disguised OPL3, so not bad at all. Are those LS chips actually relabeled OPL3 or are they some …

One question regarding OPL2: Will it always listen on 388h, for AdLib compatibility? Even when jumpered for 220h/222h? By default you select either OPL2 will listen to 388h or 220h or any other port. Probably I can add some "schematic OR" for this, so if you'll install jumper both on 220h and 388h …
