I got MDK to work on a voodoo 2 despite reports that it doesn't. It might not look any better but it certainly had better FPS. It looked the same. yah I been looking for an ISO of RE1 UK uncut power VR. I did find a demo tho.

Period correct 1999/2000 is pretty stupid by the way. 75% of the retro computers that you can find fall into 1999-2000 category or at very least the OS, Motherboard, CPU, etc. Unless your computer is 1999 than you cannot run 98se because that wouldn't be correct since 98se is 1999. 🤣

seems like a misunderstanding. It wasn't released until dec 20 1999. So there is no reasonable expectation of why you could find anyone having one in 1999 unless they got it as a Christmas present or something. Seems insane to me. But there is plenty of evidence that Anand Lal Shimpi had them in …

Opinion of mine is Media Bus isn't any good, It might of been good value at one time, but theres nothing stopping anyone from filling up regular pci and isa slots with the same hardware on a mediabus card. And thats not really saying much.

some programs might not mind, but others will want to read from a physical CD, unless you have no cd patches, you can try just normal file sharing between XP and 9x mapping drives and see if your games work like that.

All you are doing is mapping a network drive to a drive letter. When you say NAS it makes it sound like you are talking about something special but it just mapping a shared folder as a drive in windows explorer. 🤣

Recently I acquired one of these cards M3D. To put things into perspective for a rare card not a lot of people own, games are impossible to find. I don't know where to start. Also no I don't feel bad at all looking for pirated powervr games, because you will never ever find a one for sale. 🤣
