Re: Huge "zoom out" games list

level 19 is playable in 3200x2000 :) Allows changing game strategy :) Since you seem to be very interested in this game, you could check out FRABS. It is a fan made campaign with many custom levels. The levels are included with my version, but it is not set up, so I recommend you download the …

Re: Is there a MIDI to HMI converter program ?

I want to mute the in game music by replacing the original HMI music with silent HMI files, because the volume controls are broken, and deleting the files doesn't work on some computers. Selecting no music device in the game's setup is no option..? There is some bug that causes the game to …

Re: Is there a MIDI to HMI converter program ?

Here's MIDI to HMP conversion tool, as of MIDI to HMI, I couldn't find one. Anyone have a HMP to HMI converter ? I guess I should have mentioned what I actually need is a HMI file that plays nothing, complete silence. If anyone has that it would be enough. I want to mute the in game music by …

oh this is very nice, I assume it will work fine with the STEAM version? If you mean SeeFar, I personally don't have the Steam version, but AFAIK Steam version is based on Legends Of Aranna release, so it should be compatible. I just changed a bunch of configuration files, I didn't do something …

Today I uploaded a new mod called "SeeFar2020". This is a compilation of modifications for Dungeon Siege and Legends Of Aranna that increase the draw distance, add more camera control options, add support for more resolutions, fix 3D character preview in inventory and slightly increase the default …

big_font=1 is ok for 640x400 but for 960x, 1280x, 1600x etc. it gets smaller and smaller :( Better than nothing. The game released on Macs and was running at 640x480, compared to original 320x200 release, and had some some higher resolution assets, so I included those in my release as an option.

Re: Controlling the filtering of 2D GUI elements

The problem is that dgVoodoo cannot tell the difference between 2D/3D elements. Both of them are just drawn as polygons thorugh the 3D hw in most cases. If it's drawn through 2D hw or by direct cpu access then it's not affected by the texture filtering. Too bad. But since we are at it, how does GUI …

In this thread on GOG, you can see a boxed copy user "Firebrand9" bought directly from the developer: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/abuse ... ort/post29 Also I wonder if anyone here has the old user made mods and maps ? Also surprising nobody here mentioned "Frabs".

Background images (the view outside the window) are not being displayed properly or at all at higher resolutions (actually even 640x400 is affected). I guess that could be fixed if a lot of empty area was added around the levels on the maps to make them always scroll when moving. Well, you got the …

Is that abuse patch available somewhere? Here: https://www.moddb.com/games/abuse/downloads/abuse-sdl-09a-windows Fist level is small, so if you want to make a picture you could rename some other level to "level00.spe". The game is rendered using the CPU, so don't be surprised if it becomes …

Re: Huge "zoom out" games list

The fun thing is that the original releases of Abuse (prior to v2.0) also had the same feature with resolutions of at least up to 1280x1024 supported. This was eventually only reserved for the level editor, but earlier versions' readme files even contain a warning that playing in high-res might …
