I've got a few games that run way too fast on my pentium III retro PC, such as Magic Carpet. Is there a way to slow down the CPU so I can actually play the game or do I have to blow my money on a pentium 1 Windows 95? I wasn't planning on having 2 retro PCs, only one.

One more thing I just thought of - can ATX power supplies and motherboards be used in an AT case?

A move I was going to make in the future was to swap the motherboard, probably after a case, not sure yet. But as a whole are most I/O shields compatible with most motherboards?

I can't seem to find any online and the ones I do find are for about 100-120$. I'd like to get an older ATX case from around the late 90s but I'm having trouble. Anyone know of any good sites to look at? And did Gateway use proprietary motherboards?

My only concern is, I would have to use a power supply that has SATA cables, and while most PSUs have molex cables, SATA cables will not work.

I did that but when I launch Math Blaster 9-12 I won't be able to open other directx games afterwards. Putting it at the lowest got the sound working in that game but I still can't get into other directx games.
