The Intel 740 is really the wrong card to use on a super socket 7 system. It is very heavily focused and reliant on AGP features, and ss7 tend to have a lot of trouble with properly supporting these AGP features. You will probably never get it working well. I tried to put 2 of those chips in a Tseng ET4000/W32P, but when I did and started the pc the monitor said: out of range and the 2 added chips became so hot that I had issues to take them out, does it means that they need another kind of memory chips?
