I use to have one of these back in the 1990’s I think I had a P2-400 in it. It’s a nice lookin case but from I remember I did not like all the sheet metal on the side. It was hard to work around. I really like the “ticking” noise from those old Connor drives but they did tend to develop bad sectors. They use to sell for $1 per megabyte back in 1993. So that 120mb. hard-drive costs $120 Also, I had a 14” Non-interlaced monitor back in 1993.

Yes, this is a 1993/94 dream build. So I want the best components possible for that time period. I except for the CD-ROM drive i think everything else is period correct. The SB16 Pro 2.0 is setup correctly and sounds okay with the Advent 2.1 speakers I am using. So I am going to stick with this …

VLB controller only works with a compatible hard drive. I IDE hard drive under 420mb. Otherwise it runs at 16-bit. If you are going to run the CPU at 66mhz or slower ISA is fine. There are ISA , Tseng ET4000 , 2mb video cards available.
