Where was Phil back in 1998 ? Could have used him then. Would have made my life allot easier. But it's good to have him today too. Now appears to be the best time to build a retro computer because there is allot of help and resources available. Thanks Phil.

Update: It’s an old computer that has not been turned on in 25 years. It’s been stored in a basement so I guess I should expect some problems. I ran first aid on the disks and found no problems. So I can assume the disks image is okay. ran Norton’s disk utility on hard drive and found no bad sectors …

Update: When I open " Control panel > TV setup " I get this system crash and error message. So I think my MacTV tuner software is corrupt. Does anyone know where I can get original install disks for this MacTV System 7.6.1 Or at least the MacTV tuner software ?

Rebuilding my IBM Aptiva K6-2-333mhz. Put in a NEW IBM Deskstar 20gb. 72,000 RPM Hard-drive. ( Silent ). And Reinstalled Win98se. This computer was designed for Win95 so Win98 had all the drivers and installation was a breeze. Quick.

I got rid of my computer collection years ago only to find myself with even more computer today. So I just store them so I would buy anymore. As long as I have them around to play with I won't be tempted to purchase more.
