Inflated Ebay prices are the "I need it now" price. Normally I pay between $35 and $50 for 5.25" drives. My last Teac FD-55GFR was around $45 a few months ago when I bought it.

If you're sure of that, it is a crackhead design, because the resistors should be around 27ohm if that was to be an RC t-circuit. They are in series with the data lines, as they are on the matched impedance pair seen from the squiggly traces. FYI, I have used plenty of 0805 inductors with markings. …

The L0, L1, L4, L5 etc are inductors. The ones with 4R3 are 4.3uH. The ones labeled 100 are 10uH. I only agree with you up to the point that every conductor is an inductor, too. The extra pins could be several things, but I haven't seen the inside of that battery pack. Could be voltage present, could be cell bank voltage, could be thermistor input, could be other voltage outputs, etc. It would be best to try to clean up the old circuit board inside the battery pack, or …
