You can look at the model number of the 5.25" floppy drive. Likely it is 360k. It will illuminate on boot for a second to see if there's a disk inserted, then it will go to the hard drive to boot. It won't try to seek or make noise if there isn't a disk.

It's possible it could have came from an old industrial PC as well. It came in a random scrap lot, but the lot had other XT and 486 class hardware in it (EGA card, CGA card, IDE cache card, MFM controller, Mach64 VLB, Cirrus Logic VLB, and a RLL EDSI controller)

You can always do what a lot of eBay sellers do and put some new shrink wrap on it and sell it as new/unopened to gain higher bids. 🤣 (I have been the victim of this on more than one occasion)
