I said this on the previous MW2 thread, its necroing but its necessary Mech2 and all of its versions doesnt work on WIn10 for the same reasons of why I76 and Heavg Gear some time ago. Getting Black Screens with Warhammer Dark omen Menu Along with Resolution bugs Tanktics still has Rainbow issues.

Its possible to play with CRT Shaders or inject it with something like Reshade OpenGL?, pixel perfection is a meme and Retroarch NEC Xm29 shader + Lottes spoiled me a bit.

@Dege I can confirm that with "PrimarySurfaceBatchUpdate=true", the games now work fine with reasonable framerates. But it only works with normal version 62, not with WIP65. Thanks for the report! WIP65 doesn't matter by now, I remember I did some changes after that, for 2.62. Wing Commander II …

Wing Commander II Kilrathi Saga edition suffers from this badly All cutscenes and dialogues Besides the Voiced ones runs a incredibly higher framerate speeds stinger was trying to patch this, but he's tied with his job for god knows when blizzard decides to release War3Reforged.

Jane's FA looks better now, but forcing higher res still causes flickering/black bars Wing Commander IV still hates This, minus Sol's DDraw hook.

I'm unsure if anyone got far to hack fix the Shell, but one of the more pressing problems with Mechwarrior 2 under modern PC's is how bad the renderer itself behaves. FA works out of the box in modern windows and with digital audio, but it has flickering problems with Wrappers, while ATF and USNF97 doesn't. also the NoCD cracks for USNF97 and ATF doesn't work either since they were made with 16 bit/dos.

Dege, check with Sol/JariKomppa on twitter and wcnews about Wing Commander IV's scaling issues with ddraw. Also 2.6 and the wip builds seems to have worsened even more the blackout screen Flickering issues on Jane's Fighters Anthology.

Dgvoodoo2 DDRAW DLL's still doesn't work well with Wing Commander IV compared to Sol's DDhack fork. As for Wing Commander II with the Windows Patch, 2.54 had Darker skies akin to the PS1 and old video boards, the newest version makes the sky DOS blue.

Jane's FA with the official patch and nocd by Jfkpeterson forums doesnt work well with Dgvoodoo2, it suffers from black screen stuttering bugs ATF on the Other hand, has no problems with it
