Was there any Development for a general use WinG32.dll wrapper with ddraw support that wasn't the HOMM patches? With the wake of winVDM i find it strange that no one has tried to make a wing32 to d3d/vulkan/opengl32 yet.

Just small tidbit years ago mech2.org did a windows widescreen patch for mech 2win, it must be at their discord. it was a exe file that tweaked the game's resolution to any res you wanted, even 4k 16:9

just a small PSA for those using CRT shaders, hardware2x works wonders with them, mainly Geom. but i suggest using reshade for a few touches on top of it

Tested on warcraft 3 demo(dx8.1 game), when setting the screen to 4:3 CRT-Like using stock 3d card the mouses cursor flicks back to the center after if moving right screen
