The military graded 8087 chips, prefixed with MD/ML, are not great. But that opinion is based on a single chip i have. The error can be large, so keep that in mind. 8087 FPUs get very hot, but simple heatsink+fan take care of that to a large extent. Speaking about room temperatures here of course. …
