hehe, there aren't that many. I think there might actually be already commercial solutions in place. Except the users don't want to pay 😀 On the subject of the virus. I hope the people who are without internet now, do get their pc fixed and maybe (wishful thinking) they have learned their lesson.

It's not really difficult. I've experimented with various things in my local codebase (clipboard sharing, mouse copy/paste, running applications on the host, etc) Except it has nothing to do with games which is the sole target of DOSBox. Your .Net class might be cool for you, but is most likely …

you don't have some intellipoint auto sensivitiy gaming mouse or so right ? There are some threads about that on the forum in that they screw up with dosbox.

hmm I have a "dual" card that has a chip from the hd4xxx and one from the hd5xxx serie. Wonder how that will work. (the 4xxx chip is used in powersaving mode)

dosbox is not a general purpose emulator though. It's specificly geared towards games and has intentional shortcommings and imprecissions while emulating.

basicly the game tries to modify memory that can't be changed. This can happen for a couple of reasons: corrupt savegame, programming error in the game, programming error in dosbox.
