think aspect correction might be a considered a scaler and those aren't applied to captured media Maybe resize the result with virtual dub or so

why not stick to the shortcuts we provided and there are more differences between 0.72 and 0.73 aside from the sound settings. (machine for example)

since the game was released as freeware I deleted my iso of the game. Not very handy to test it

only for a very brief period of time. they replaced with a normal build later (and it was a normal build to begin with, it was just a "wrapper" around the dosbox executable.)

The problem is explorer.exe. if you kill it before dosbox it doesn't happen. As work around try changing the graphics output dosbox uses from surface to ddraw.
