if you have read errors then a different output/forced resolutions doesn't help. have you tried changing the sound settings of the game ?

try typing ipx=true inside dosbox and look at the configfile on the various modem and nullmodem emulation options present 😀

could you try different dosbox versions ? 0.70 is much different from 0.65. Perharps it works correctly in there.

Currently the whole [sdl] section isn't handled by the runtime code. The mapper itself is partly inited in main. To make it runtime changable will be quite an undertaking. Currently I have no desire to do that.

ouch then noting is left 😉 the parameter is the amount to decrease it. Desqview was kind of windows 3.x env I recall. I did some debugging on it once and it's currently not very compatible with dosbox.

We might remove all sample rates and use the mixer samplerate for all sound related devices. I made a poll to see what you think of this idea. I personally tend to change all samplerates at the same time, so that up and downsampling doesn't happen.
