the bug is triggered by something else then that is fixed by the biopatch. I created an updated biopatch which works with both 0.63 and 0.65

did you take a look at the configfile ? if you set it to 4axis you should have more buttons.

To compile the windows version: I use quite an older version of GCC to be honest 3.4.4 It seems to work fine for me. I might upgrade it when we start testing a new version. The -O4 option.. I did hear about that. but didn't find documentation on what it does. My buildflags are a bit longer though.

uhm well not really possible. unless you remove the mouse. The mouse is emulted and drawn into the emulated screen. The capture stuff saves the emulated screen.

welll those weird characters indicates some weirdness in the fields dosbox uses. I do have the game somewhere. Will take a look to see how that "rubbish" gets after the anim name.

hmm yes that looks like a problem that src/Makefile.am:8: dosbox_LDADD defined both conditionally and unconditionally you might want to do without the ./autogen.sh and use the original 0.65 source.

that link command is just wrong. Only dosbox.o is linked. There should be a a lot of other files there. here is what mine looks like g++ -O2 -o dosbox dosbox.o cpu/libcpu.a debug/libdebug.a dos/libdos.a fpu/libfpu.a hardware/libhardware.a gui/libgui.a ints/libints.a misc/libmisc.a shell/libshell.a …

you need to mount your cdrom of the game using the -t cdrom flag type in dosbox Copy code to clipboard 1 intro cdrom for more information

next version: you can add @echo off as first line of [autoexec] then they will be invisible. To really remove them. you have to set gus=false and type=none
