interrupt flag some how is of during gameplay. if you turn it on (only once) the game is fully playable.

i recall the screenmessages are timed by the audio on the cdrom. Be sure to mount your cdrom correctly. See (type in dosbox) "intro cdrom" for details

yes if we release a version with sdl_sound (as the ones Jeremy creates). I was unable to proper compile it under windows last time. (it only works for bin/cue)

well dynamic core can sometimes cause slowdown if many irq are generated. You might want to try it again with the upcoming next version as that one has some different key repeat. Maybe that will benifit your cause.

Yeps you are right. Although an exploit is very unlikely i've coded a small fix. Feel free to test it. Instead of the pointer it stores the index of vector. that index is used to retrieve the internal pointer. I'll attach my file.

hmmm. Really odd. I did find some possible bug. but then dir and others should be unstable as well. Anybody with a debugger experiences this problem as well ?

you can use Turbo debug for debugging or dosbox it's debugger. you can use hiew for typing assembly (that's where i type it in)
