look at an US keyboard or change the language (using keyb.com) to match yours. the @ is on top of the 2 on a US keyboard.

yeah. I added that exit condition. I am surprised it triggers in a real game, so maybe some fpu register isn't cleared by dosbox correctly. Or they would rely on the stack overflow exception, but I don't see why a game would do that as it isn't the greatest for speed.

Ah that is pretty interesting. A game that triggers that. I added that. What do I need to do to reproduce that ?

Try a clean SVN (no munt stuff) and without debug first. The MSG_Add code seems okay to me at first glance. (where your backtrace points at) It isn't the first time when this function is called either ( which is with CONFIG_FULLSCREEN )

why is there quote before the first [autoexec] section ? please give me the full command that you use to start it Copy code to clipboard 1 dosbox -conf 1.conf -conf 2.conf is the intended syntax for multiple configuration files. What are you using ?

if you use multiple configuration files. The settings get overridden if specified in the later configuration files. The autoexec sections get merged together. At least that is how it is intended to work.

Does this apply to your system ? Right-Shift / Backslash Keyboard Problems (SOLVED!) What about the usescancode option ? Although it might a similar problem as the one I recently fixed, where the winkey couldn't be mapped on Linux.

Are you sure your default midi device is correctly selected ? As far as I know (and how dosbox is intended to work) Copy code to clipboard 1 midiconfig=0 => use first device 2 midiconfig= => use default device.

Probably the emulated DOS memory gets corrupted and the next allocation/resize/free causes DOSBox to get in a loop that it can't get out off. Ripsaw8080 has improved this behaviour in the SVN.

but you are messing with custom mode lines to get 720x400.... If you enable aspect correction you get different resolutions from 720x400..... 640x400 would become 640x480 (resolution wise. DOSBox can only control the resolution...., the rest is up to your videocard drivers/monitor)
