Ever heard of the Apple IIGS? It's the 16 bits version of the Apple II, and it is also emulated. I've tested XGS-DOS. It is VERY slow, but stuff like the "King's Quest" series is playable.

Can't think of many other systems to try, really. This is a CBM Amiga running through Fellow 0.36 R1. I've tried several games, but only "Test Drive" was playable. As for the emulator, flawless. It is an achievement because until v0.70 Windows 3.X, which is a much simplier set of programs, had problems running under DOSBox.

Amazing. This must be one of the first, if not the first emulator ever for PC. But, is it of any use with VGA or SVGA cards? I've always thought they were backwards compatible with older standards, although the oldest games I ever tried under DOS were at least in EGA.

More testing: Master System II emulation through MEKA v0.70. It works OK, but I expected better speed. It works without any tweaking, but movement is a bit jerky on my Athlon64 3400+. Otherwise perfect.
