Indeed, strange with the POST card. Usually there is nothing you can do wrong with it, you can even insert it the wrong direction without damaing it... Output is not as expected, but also helpful. XT-IDE will solve the problem. You can also try a bootmanager. But we are very close to the solution. …

I found some time and managed to do what you first suggested. Put back the original BIOS and typed the command lines (please see screenshot attached). I did not manage to extract the file that you sent. It seems to be damaged.

With regards to XT-IDE, have you configured & saved the ROM first with xtidecfg? This will generate the required checksum. Also, unless you absolutely need the extra features of the large 12K ROM, I'd stick with the 8KB one instead as it's much easier to flash. I used the one that Predator99 sent …
