Added the SAAYM, although the YM2151 almost disqualified it from appearing in this list. It's not a reproduction or clone if it has synthesis capability that never existed on PC before! I put it in anyway because of the Game Blaster compatibility. Thanks, carlostex.

The 3c905C is keyed for both 5V PCI and 3.3V PCI slots - there are two notches in the card edge connector instead of just one. This is relevant on server boards and certain embedded boards with 3.3V PCI slots, but essentially every desktop motherboard has 5V PCI slots.

Did any software use the 3-channel Tandy 1000 /PC Jr sound hardware simultaneously with the PC Speaker to get 4-channel music instead of just 3? It seems like such an obvious way to get better music, but all of the examples of Tandy music I can find are clearly only 3 channels.

My experience with the embedded boards and single board computers is that they are quite expensive, even when obsolete. In my mind, the small size of the industrial boards does not outweigh the increased hassle and high cost.
