Does your motherboard have a bios option for a memory hole? On ISA systems I believe between 15-16mb area some devices grab a swatch of memory

Some benchmarks of the time rated this system faster than a p90 on just a single dx50 processor on many of the benchmarks, memory speed was very high

The AMD K5 series doesn't generally overclock well beyond 4 MHz from its rated speed. Were you able to load Windows 9x and run some programs at lengh? Past experience says the 5.5x multiplier is faster than the 6x one, not sure why, maybe AMD bungled 6x, no idea.
