Keeping the topic alive, this, this or this cable(s) off Ebay could do the trick, Although from picture quite thin, no ferrites, so lower quality option(s) This one looks a bit higher quality, although quite long, could be a good option For future reference

Does the CPU still work? These capacitors are just for power smoothing, I lost one when removing the glued heatsink on mine, but it hasn't affected it's performance or stability. They are not immediately critical for CPU operation. You know, it did not even occur to me that the CPU could work at …

It didn't even occur to me that the CPU in this state could work at all, but after reading your ideas I tried it.....well it has been running Prime95 for a couple of hours now, seems to be perfectly fine...

I took the photo after I did some cleanup and desoldered what was left of the caps. The one with ripped off pad - I figured that all caps on that side of the IHS are connected the same, with the side closer to IHS being all connected to ground. So my plan is to bridge from one to the other....

Can any of you good guys and gals help me identify the type and spec of the SMD components on P55C package? I got hold of two battered Pentium MMX CPUs - 200MHz and 233MHz, and the 233MHz has the two encircled in red ripped off. They seem simple to replace....
